Depicted with arms entwined, they symbolize the interconnectedness of beauty, emotion and the arts. Roman scholar Varro said there were three Muses: One born from movement of water, another that makes sound by striking the air, and a third embodied in the human voice. As a bridge between the physical and the formless, these entities inspire the pursuit of knowledge and creation, inspiring possibilities for future endeavors to come.
