The human condition is the pursuit of creating and preserving memories that endure and shape our legacies beyond our time. Memories, which mold our identities and give meaning to our lives, have been intimately linked to the recording of history since ancient times, as evidenced by written records on stone tablets and papyrus scrolls.
Today, our lives are recorded and preserved through various mediums, such as film, magnetic tape, CD-ROMs, hard drives, and cloud storage. However, digital storage and blockchain technology offer a unique way to safeguard these memories beyond our lifetimes, providing us with a digital form of immortality that was once unthinkable.
“Stored Memories” reflects on the human quest for remembrance and how technology could save or erase our existence generations from now.
