**“Faceless Portraits"** is my genesis collection that I began as a way to calm my mind during the COVID-19 pandemic. I felt stressed due to the sudden changes in my life and the uncertainty surrounding it.
Inspired by my Buddhist heritage, the mandala circle on each figure's head represents the movement and change that is the only constant thing in one's life. Drawing the mandala is a meditative practice for me, keeping my mind both focused and relaxed. The absence of facial features in my portraits allows them to represent anyone, emphasizing the universal nature of humanity. All of us are behind a mask hiding our continual change, a pool of emotions, and all the idiosyncrasies that make us unique.
