It is conventional for middle-class people to complain about McDonald’s hamburger joints, and Banksy joins in by giving Ronald McDonald big boots like the old-time music-hall star Little Tich. Quoting David’s painting of Napoleon crossing the Alps, Banksy puts a burqa on him. An old lady looks at modern art’s confusion on a pedestal. I enjoy putting Banksy’s jokes on my reverspective brick walls – they come to life when you move around them.
