This journey has taken me to Greenland, a place I was dreaming of photographing for years. During my visit in July, the sun did not set. We would set sail in the evening, as the sun got closer to the horizon, chasing icebergs and glaciers
Icebergs have been sailing the Arctic Circle long before mankind’s existence. They transport the essence of life, slowly melting until they vanish in the vastness of the ocean.
The iceberg in the picture was the biggest I saw on that trip. It was also the furthest we sailed to find. I could spot it from kilometers away. As we got closer, it blew me away with its size and beauty. It was one of those moments when I felt vulnerable to the power of nature.
