Chapter 2: Gloom Wanderers are born of a demigoat creature and a giant rabbit fiend. Cursed upon birth with a deformed and ghastly appearance, it possesses the ability to wander the netherworld and the land of death. The land of death lies between the netherworld and the mortal realm. This creature is the ancestor of goblins. Upon birth, it was transported to the netherworld, fated to serve a single grim purpose - to guide the spirits of fallen warriors who perished in battle to the netherworld, where these warrior souls will join the army of the Demon King. This creature wields dark magic of the basest order, yet is itself corrupted and eaten away by the dark powers it controls. Its twisted and decaying form can only be sustained by devouring the spirits of slain warriors - though each soul so consumed strengthens the curse, accelerating the beast's descent into ruin.
