This project combines a traditional Japanese 31-syllable poem called a tanka and AI-based image generation called Midjourney. The tanka poems used in this project are from the Ogura Anthology of One Hundred Tanka Poems, all of which were written over 800 years ago. I hope that this project will help you become interested in Japanese traditions.
