ChainID and its pseudonymous creator, EGO, are a performative study of identity, ego, privacy, and immutability in the context of the blockchain and the digital world. EGO’s real identity is hidden somewhere in the midst of the 999 people they follow. Each of these fingerprints is a piece of generative art tied to one of these 999, created using their wallet address—their digital “fingerprint”—as a seed.
