DAZ feat. Francois Knoetze

This collection features 2+10 unique GIFs from Foliscape, a new video work by artist Francois Knoetze that explores the life-cycle of the aluminium recycling process. Foliscape will be featurd at the DAZ - Digital Art Zurich Festival 2023 and was comissioned by IGORA, the Swiss cooperative for aluminium recycling and FERRO-Recycling. Foliscape serves as an inspiration for the annual recycling art competition hosted by IGORA and FERRO. The collection is Knoetze's first ever NFT project, in collaboration with DAZ. Francois Knoetze is a South African visual artist working in video, performance, sculpture and new media. Well-known for his sculptural costumes and installations made from recycled materials, he has exhibited in major international museums such as the Guggenheim (New York), Centre Pompidou (Paris), and Akademie der Künste (Berlin).
